A total of 340 patients were studied under controlled trial,all suffering from Dementia.30 million neural stem cells modified from umbilical stem cells were transfused in all patients.It was observed that all of these patients showed some betterment in memory in first week post stem cell transfusion.All these patients showed improvement in orientation in Time,Person and Place.85 % of patients showed full improvement in memory till 60 days and 15 % till 90 days post stem cell transfusion.In all these patients methyl prednisone 500 mg was used as stem cell booster.
