A total of 240 patients were studied under controlled trial, all suffering from ovarian cancer.102 patients had bilateral ovarian carcinoma and rest had unilateral lesion. All of these patients were transfused with 60 million ovary specific killer stem cells after blood group matching.MRI done at 30 days post stem cell showed regression of the ovarian masses till 40 % to 50 %.MRI done at 60 days post stem cell showed more regression of the cancerous lesions, moreover fluid filled cyst started developing in ovaries after this regression.By the end of 6 months cancer masses were erased but fluid filled cysts which were non cancerous were still present in 60 % of cases.PET scan was done at 7 months post stem cell which was negative for 201 cases and for rest PET scan became negative after 8 months.
Organ specific ovarian killer stem cells are potent and curative treatment for treating ovarian cancer, and are a much better option than chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
